This weekend I made the big move after 5 years in Leeds back to Manchester to be with my parents for a while, so as you can imagine I’ve been pretty busy the last week or so packing up, seeing people before moving, actually moving and unpacking and settling back in at home. The main reason I’ve made the move back home is to have a base whilst I’m on the job hunt, so I have a lot more time on my hands coming up – so you can expect normal service to resume on KNEL very shortly!
I’m not the only new addition to the household either!
Sadly our lovely cat Jasmine hadn’t been well for quite some time, and a few weeks ago she passed away of pneumonia :'( we’re missing her absolutely tonnes, and the household was far too empty and quiet without a kitty trotting around. We went on a family trip out to an animal shelter ‘just for a look’ and as a result I’d like to proudly introduce Star – though if you follow me on Snapchat (knelblog if you wanna wanna!) you’ll have already met her!
We fell absolutely head over heels for her when we met her, and her for us. She’s settled in fabulously to the household and we couldn’t be happier. She’s a happy, healthy little 2 year old who was sadly a stray until recently. Now she’s in a loving home and doesn’t have to dig through bins for food anymore!
She’s definitely no replacement for Jasmine who we miss everyday, but she’s a very welcome addition to the house and we couldn’t be happier together.
