Teeth Whitening with WhiteWash Nano

Teeth Whitening with WhiteWash Nano

If someone asked you what part of yourself you were most self-conscious about, what would it be? For me, it’s my teeth and always has been. Too much tea and too many fizzy drinks have really taken a toll on the whiteness of my teeth, and I’m forever searching for sensitive-teeth-friendly ways to improve their appearance. This time, I’ve been trying the entire Nano range from WhiteWash Labs.

Last year I tried the Crest 3D Professional Effects Teeth Whitening Strips, and whilst I achieved a brilliant result, I had some sensitivity issues. My results also eventually faded. What I was really looking for was a whitening solution that didn’t cause me any problems, which seemed a bit of a long shot!

Firstly, we have to address the packaging of the range from WhiteWash. I never thought I’d see an instagrammable toothpaste and mouthwash, but I have now! The white packaging with embossed and gold detailing looks chic in any bathroom. The whole range ties together through its design beautifully.

I decided to use the Daily Whitening Maintenance Kit for a week before I tried the whitening strips to see what results could be gained through just this range. The kit includes a toothpaste, toothbrush, floss and mouthwash – everything you need for a whiter smile.

First of all, I found the order you needed to use the products in a bit odd. I’d always thought that you’d brush your teeth, then floss, then mouthwash – but not with this range. You use the floss first, which when I think about it does make more sense. You follow this with the mouthwash and brush your teeth last. My teeth were left feeling much cleaner, probably due to this order usage. I did notice an improvement in the appearance of my teeth – so I think if I were to use the range on its own for longer I would see even further whitening.

Overall I like the range. It has the same soft mint taste throughout all the products. The toothbrush itself is nicely designed, but at the end of the day, it’s not going to beat my electric toothbrush for me! My one gripe was actually the functionality of the mouthwash bottle – whilst beautiful, it was prone to dribbling due to the neck shape and needing to measure it out in the cap. Luckily nothing a damp cloth couldn’t fix!

Teeth Whitening with WhiteWash Nano

The Nano Intensive Whitening Strips – a two-week course of gentle whitening strips that promised amazing results. They are designed for use on your teeth following using the whitening maintenance kit. The instructions state that the strips are best applied to dry teeth, and it was easier to get them to adhere this way. Very similar to the Crest strips I tried last year, you peel the clear strips from a film and apply to the teeth. Then simply take them off and remove any excess gel with a tissue.

My commute is 30 minutes, so I applied the strips just before I left the house, and removed them when I got to work. Within a few days, I saw significant results, which I’m really happy with. Following the end of the course, I have continued to use the whitening maintenance kit, which has prolonged my results.

I’m really happy that I personally experienced no sensitivity using this range. Of course, I’m not a dentist and can’t say that you will experience no problems. The Whitening Maintenance Kit is something I’ll be looking to continue to use in conjunction with my daily teeth routine. And in the future, I’d definitely consider the strips again for touch ups before any big events.
