With the year fast drawing to a conclusion I’ve found myself looking back to 2015 – back to how much things have changed, how much I have/haven’t achieved, and how much I’ve enjoyed it in many ways. Today I wanted to share my top 6 posts from the year – I wanted to do top 5 of 2015, but I have a little thing about symmetry and an odd number of images was naaaat gonna aid that in any way, so have a bonus post!
It’s no real surprise to anyone who knows me even a little bit that 3 of my top posts this year are lipsticks – and 3 belters at that!
The perfect dusky blue toned pinky nude that has been worn to death since I got it for my birthday in summer. It quickly became my most worn everyday lippy and I’ll never be without it.
My first lipstick purchase of the year, and another I’ve worn a crazy amount. The perfect matte formula and a great purple to wear on just a normal day – not to in your face, but purple enough to satisfy the purple lip lover in me.
Another purple lipstick, told you I love them! Apparently a great dupe for Mac’s Heroine this lipstick is a super budget friendly buy – if/when I pick up Mac Heroine a comparison post will most definitely be written.
The world’s prettiest make up brushes, until Spectrum released their Siren range in October. Anyone who loves mermaids will fall in love with the bright mermaid inspired collections that Spectrum have on offer – plus these brushes blend like a dream. I use them alongside my Real Techniques brushes on a daily basis.
I love that this post was one of my most popular this year – it was one of the most fun to write! The comments this post got really made me laugh – I’m so glad so many people agree with my broccoli based opinions!
Not much of a looker, but a product I loved nonetheless. A great scrub that did the job, with a lovely scent to boost. Lush delivered again!
Please link me to any posts like this you may have done, I always love reading round ups! I’ve loved every minute of blogging this year, I really feel like I found my way with it again. Yes a couple of dry spells happened, but you guys know I’m cool with that. I’d rather go quiet for a little bit than be putting out content that just isn’t right/what I’m feeling/actually any good! I can’t wait to see what 2016 will bring for myself, my family and friends and for KNEL!
Wishing you all the happiest of New Years – see you on the other side!
