I’ve always been a bit of a Lushie, and I’ve always had fantastic service in Lush Nottingham. Sometimes it’s been someone giving me advice on the best products to help a bad breakout, and sometimes it’s been helping me check out quickly on a lunch dash. Back in December, I was given a big pick me up after being made redundant by a random act of kindness by one of the staff.
A few years ago, being invited to an event at Lush seemed like something that happened when you’d made it. Whilst these days those that have made it get whisked away for weekends in Paris or for fancy brunches in London, I still felt like I’d ticked a box when a Lush event invite landed in my inbox.
It’s been a while since I spoke about Lush on the blog! If you follow my Instagram you’ll be well aware that I’m still regularly partaking in a Lush bath, so today I’m throwing it way back with a little bath bomb review. This time – Ylang Song Bombshell!
You might remember I wrote about the bad affect the Garnier Moisture Bomb range had on my already dehydrated skin. It became even more dehydrated, flaky across my T-zone and on top of that it was very sensitive. When it wasn’t clearing up I decided to speak to the staff in Lush to see if any of their products might help. After trying Skin Drink on the back of my hand, I was convinced that this would be what would help my skin recover.
A lot of my posts feel very overdue at the moment, so I’m carrying on the trend and talking about a Lush Oxford Street haul from over a month ago! My last post talked about what I wore to a wedding at the end of July. Said wedding took place in London, so I also took some time to visit a friend and do some shopping! Of course when we ended up on Oxford Street I just had to go into the Lush store there and pick up some exclusive goodies! I ended up picking five products – all of which you can only get at the Lush Oxford Street store..
